Dr Shaun Dempsey has worked in healthcare for over 25 years and early in his career was able to make a link between many of the physical ailments from which people suffered, and the psychological problems they faced. In light of this, Shaun focused his studies on Clinical Psychology and over the last 18 years has attained the following qualifications
- Bachelor of Science (Honours)
- Master of Applied Psychology (Clinical)
- PhD (Psychology)
Shaun is a Clinical Psychologist who is:
- Endorsed with AHPRA in the approved area of practice of Clinical Psychology
- A full member of the Australian Psychological Society
- A full member of the Australian Psychological Society College of Clinical Psychologists
Medicare rebate – as a client receiving services from a Clinical Psychologist you are of course eligible for the highest Medicare rebate available ($124.50). Partial reimbursement is often also available for patients who have private health insurance.

- Adolescent Forensic Mental Health working with adolescent boys in Cleveland Youth Detention Centre.
- Men and families in the Australian Defence Force through the Trauma Recovery Centre in Townsville.
